About Us: VGC Chromatography

The concept of variable geometry columns for gas chromatography was invented by Dr. Willie Steinecker. After establishing the concept, he and his team worked for two years to develop and validate the proprietary methods used to manufacture VGCs. Three different methods were developed and patent applications were submitted in 2010. Column sales began in 2011.

NoBull Innovation, an Ohio based innovation and commercialization expert, worked with Dr. Steinecker to form the joint venture VGC Chromatography. Both companies are associated with the Ohio Third Frontier Wright Center for Innovation,
the Institute for the Development and Commercialization of Advanced Sensor Technology (IDCAST)
